The Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League are proud to announce that goaltender Miles Roberts has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at Northern Michigan University.
Roberts, a native of Costa Mesa, California, put together an outstanding 2025–26 season for Fairbanks. He finished the regular season with a 20-10-0 record, a 2.19 goals-against average, and a .922 save percentage, ranking among the NAHL’s top five in several goaltending categories. For these accomplishments, Miles earned an invitation to represent the Midwest Division at the 2026 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament. Following that appearance, Miles started 16 of the team’s final 19 regular-season games, helping Fairbanks to secure a 2nd place finish in the NAHL Midwest Division. Trusted in between the pipes for playoffs, Roberts delivered to the tune of a 1.64 goals against average and a .942 save percentage.
