FAIRBANKS — The Fairbanks Ice Dogs closed out the North American Hockey League Showcase with a 5-0 victory against the Chicago Hitmen on Saturday evening in Blaine, Minn.

Forwards JT Osborn and Joe Blake both rang up two goals and forward Zach Blaisdell added a goal and an assist in the Ice Dogs’ 8-2 triumph over the Wings. Joe Phillippi stopped 23 shots in goal.
