SPRINGFIELD- The Fairbanks Ice Dogs enter their last regular season series in the Lower 48 this weekend when they face the Springfield Jr. Blues Friday and Saturday night.

The Dogs will play the entire month of March in Alaska, and wrap the month up with the annual Spaghetti Feed March 31.  Over $14,000 will be given away during the fundraising event.  Tickets are $100 each, and only 300 will be sold.  They are available at the Ice Dogs Office, and during home games in March.

The Ice Dogs are nipping at the heels of the Minnesota Magicians, who lost Thursday night at home to the Kenai River Brown Bears.  With 60 points on the season, the Dogs are just two back of the Magicians, and six points ahead of Janesville and Springfield who sit tied with 54 points.
