FAIRBANKS— The Fairbanks Ice Dogs continued their recent slide after losing 4-1 to Midwest Division opponent Minnesota Magicians on Thursday in Richfield, Minnesota.

“They were just a better team,” head coach Trevor Stewart said by cellphone. “This was maybe the worst game we’ve played this year.”

Despite outshooting the Magicians 33-26, Fairbanks only scored one goal for just the second time this season, the first coming in a 2-1 shootout loss to the Wenatchee Wild on Nov. 15.
