Ice Dogs dominate third period for 4-1 win over Magicians, sweep opening series

FAIRBANKS—The Minnesota Magicians, before a home crowd of 1,137,  had as many goals and nearly as many shots as the Fairbanks Ice Dogs after the first two periods in Friday night’s second game of their North American Hockey League Midwest Division first-round playoff series.

Then came the third period for the Ice Dogs in the Richfield Ice Arena in Richfield, Minnesota.
