FAIRBANKS—The Fairbanks Ice Dogs offense picked up on Saturday night right where it left off on Friday.

The Ice Dogs scored five times in the first period as they beat the Johnston Tomahawks 7-5 in a North American Hockey League game at the Big Dipper Ice Arena.

“All four of our lines are starting to contribute,” Ice Dogs forward Reggie Lutz said. “That really helps that we have a deep team. It’s really nice that we have every line kind of producing. That takes a lot off our first two lines.”
